Happy World Emoji day!

Happy World Emoji Day!  7/17/17 the date displayed on the iOS calendar emoji. Emojis have a common language throughout the world. 60 million emojis are sent every day on Facebook. Combined with the social media giant’s Messenger app, 5 billion emojis are sent every day on messenger.  Emojis have a common language throughout the world.

But what If I told you that by regularly using emojis you’re likely to have more sex, would you use them more?

A study in Time magazine reported that 51% of singles say they use emojis to give their texts “more personality,” and 37% say that emojis make it “easier to express their feelings.”Single emoji-users are also twice as likely (62%) as non-users (30%) to want to get married.

When it comes to gender differences, do more men or women use emojis?  In her study “Expression Online: Gender Differences and Emoticon Use,” communications researcher Alecia Wolf found that women used emojis nearly twice as often as men.  She also found that when women used emojis, they did so to convey humor (35 percent), while men used emojis most frequently to express sarcasm (31 percent). Emojis and Sex:

Perhaps more interesting, emoji users in their 20s, 30s, and 40s were more likely to report having sex at least monthly than non-emoji users. That could be because emoji users may be more self-expressive and in turn more sexual, says Helen Fisher of Rutgers University, who helped Match.com develop the survey.  Even men, who generally tend to be less expressive or who are on the quiet side, can use emojis for more success with women.

Most popular Emojis:

According to emoji use, “Hearts” tops the list by a mile. With more than 342 million tweets, hearts account for 10 percent of all emojis in the top 100. Love is a prominent emoji theme.  Heart images appear in 14 of top 100 emojis (including No. 4, “Heart Eyes,” and No. 87, “Heart Eyes Cat”).

It’s best to know who you are sending an emoji to and why.  If your partner is lighthearted go ahead and emoji away.  But I wouldn’t use an emoji to tell my partner for the first time that I love them.  Use your words instead.

SECURE note:  If you want to have more sex increase your emojication; start communicating with emojis today!

Who will you be sending an emoji to today?  Do you use emoji’s and how do they affect your sex life?
